Physician - Podiatry examines, diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases, deformities or injuries of the foot. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Podiatry recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Podiatry requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Podiatry's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Under the supervision of the Physician, the medical assistant is responsible for direct patient care and assisting the physician. The medical assistant is responsible for the patient flow in the office to include vital signs, history, tests, preparing exam room, chaperoning, scheduling appointments, triaging messages and phoning in prescriptions. The medical assistant must be able to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality standards and professional conduct. This position works under supervision of the physician.

Qualifications:
-PODIATRY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED, but not required.
-Knowledge of insurance/verification
-Ability to interact well with diverse groups of people
-Computer and Internet experience, Microsoft Office Knowledge
