Description:
· 1099/independent contractor working with supervising physician
· Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients
· Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
· Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
· Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and treatment options
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
· Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medical conditions to accurately document patient information
· Triage patients based on the severity of their condition and provide appropriate care
Qualifications:
· Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia
· Master’s degree in nursing or related field
· Experience in senior care and working with individuals with physical rehabilitation needs
· Strong clinical skills and ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
· Familiarity with electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
