The Physiatry clinic includes a comprehensive team of physiatrists, a medical health psychologist and neuropsychologist. Our team works with patients who need rehabilitation after a stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and many other conditions.

• Position is .4FTE and part-time benefit eligible
• Outpatient care of patients with spinal cord related injuries

• Average of 8-12 patients per day; no nights or weekends
• Clinic only based– Triaged through PM&R Clinic Nurses
• Practice outpatient only
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physiatry
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
