We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant With Pediatric Experience for our offices in Clifton/Montclair, NJ. We would love to have you become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and schedule appointments
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms and perform all necessary vitals
• Triage patients effectively
• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Administer injections and collect specimens
• document patient care using medical record software

Skills:

• Strong communications skills
• demonstrate a strong and professional demeanor
• capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pediatrics
• EMR Experience- Office Practicum- preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• NJIIS/VFC Experience preferred
• Medical Assistant Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
