Requests necessary tests, and follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Being a Physician - Pediatrics requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Pediatrics may report to a medical director. Physician - Pediatrics's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - Average daily census of 3 - 10 newborns and 1 - 4 inpatients on the pediatric floor
