Our established pediatric practice in NW Washington, DC is looking for a Full-time experienced pediatric medical assistant or LPN. Candidate must be friendly, detailed oriented, and comfortable working with pediatric patients of all ages (birth through age 21). We are looking for someone who is motivated, good at multi-tasking and can work efficiently. Your role will be to assist the physician in all aspects of general pediatric care. Primary tasks include: obtaining vital signs on pediatric patients, taking brief history of present illness, administering injections to patients of all ages, performing capillary and venous blood draws, obtaining samples and running point of care tests, filling out school forms, fielding patient phone calls, and assisting in transcribing data from paper chart to electronic medical record. Must have experience working with electronic medical records. Salary is commensurate with experience.
