We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Lafayette, LA. Schedule: 5:30am to approximately 5:30pm daily, with night coverage provided by other physicians starting at 5:30pm.
Case Breakdown:
· Approximately 60% pediatric cases and 40% adult cases, including obstetrics.
· Daily staffing includes 1 MD and 6 CRNAs.
· 1 CRNA covers obstetrics, 1 is dedicated to MRI/CT, and 4 are available for the operating room.
· CRNAs arrive around 6 - 6:30am and rotate out as cases decrease throughout the day.
Qualifications:
· Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
· Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
· Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred.
· Active Louisiana medical license and DEA registration.
