Physician - Pediatric Cardiology jobs in New York
Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects and treats heart and blood vessel disease in infants, children, and teenagers. Conducts physical exams, which may include an X-ray, electrocardiogram, Doppler echocardiography, exercise testing, or blood tests. Being a Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects abnormalities, plans treatment, and refers critical patients to a cardiac surgeon. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Pediatric Cardiology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our medical team. This is a vital role in our organization, as your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.Duties:
- Conduct medical imaging procedures using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate sonography equipment and adjust settings as needed
- Capture high-quality images of patients' heart.
- Analyze images and identify any abnormalities or potential issues
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic evaluations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in sonography technology and techniquesQualifications:
- Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), RDCS, CCI or equivalent certification(or who are eligible for certification)
- Previous experience working as a pediatric or fetal Sonographer preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze images
