SUMMARY OF POSITION :
This position provides daily oversight for the collection, processing and delivery of all specimens flowing into the laboratory. Additionally, this role facilitates education, training, problem solving and serves as a resource for communications with other health care providers. Provides expertise in all pre-analytical laboratory processes, client services, and billing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Medical laboratory technician, phlebotomy, or other specialized laboratory training required.
Minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
