    Location: Richland, WA
    Anatomic Laboratory Supervisor will under general direction, supervise and work with AP laboratory personnel,  participate in the routine, technical, and nontechnical laboratory functions. Will be tasked with providing management, creating a team-oriented environment, overseeing daily technical operations, and oversees facilitating training new employees in the laboratory.
    You Will:
    • Supervise of laboratory staff & oversee the day-to-day laboratory workflow
    • Monitor department staff levels and scheduling
    • Monitor and maintain reliable attendance employee attendance records in ADP
    • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
    • Carryout discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
    • Establish and monitor laboratory goals and objectives
    • Monitor laboratory quality assurance programs
    • Monitor department level budget and contribute to budgetary planning
    • Facilitate recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff
    • Perform duties of certified position (i.e.: Pathology Assistants', Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, or as Molecular Technologist)
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    Education/Certifications
    • Bachelor’s Science Degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science or equivalent. Master’s Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, business administration, or equivalent preferred
    • ASCP or NCA certification in Medical Technology
    Skills and Abilities
    • 5 years’ experience in the laboratory
    • Leadership experience
    • Knowledge of Quality Improvement programs, processes, and tools
    • Prior experience validating and implementing new tests and technologies.
    • Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, Pathologists, and other departments
    • Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, human resources management, and report development: experience validating and implementing new tests and technologies
    • Ability to coordinate multiple resources successfully to accomplish a task or accept an idea through executive team
