The Laboratory Manager’s role is to coordinate, plan, and operationally integrate services between and within departments. The primary focus of this position will be managerial oversight of Histology, Cytology and other support functions for Anatomic Pathology and to also support clinical areas for specimen collection and specimen processing in the preanalytical phase of laboratory testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory or anatomic pathology sciences, chemistry, biology or related science to meet the CLIA qualifications for High Complexity Testing. Master’s degree preferred. Supervisory experience required. ASCP certification preferred.
