Responsibilities:
- Provide patient service and support by assisting with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and addressing patient inquiries.
- Perform medical administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, updating information, and verifying insurance coverage.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for X-ray imaging and assist with positioning and equipment setup.
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during care by monitoring vital signs and addressing any concerns.
- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to accurately perform clinical procedures.
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Proficient in medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling and record keeping.
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and equipment operation.
- Basic life support certification to respond to emergency situations.
- Competent in providing direct patient care, including assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Familiarity with coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes.

This position requires a Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential for success in this role.
