Advanced Hearing Services, Inc., an affiliate of Otolaryngology Associates, P.C. is seeking a qualified Medical Receptionist to perform the following duties:
* Provide our patients with excellent customer service
* Scheduling patient appointments for our hearing aid patients, in person and over the telephone
* Troubleshoot simple hearing aid problems (Training Provided)
* Maintain patient accounts electronically and corresponding with patients if needed
Required qualifications:
Education: High school graduate or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of one year work experience in a medical office front desk setting. Experience with hearing aids a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Position requires exceptional organizational skills, with an energetic personality who can multi task. Basic computer skills are necessary. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and employees. Skill in answering a multiline telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner. Verbal, written and electronic communication skills needed. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
