Physician - Ophthalmology examines patients' eyes to ensure eye health, to treat injuries and to identify eye irregularities. Prescribes glasses, contacts or surgery to correct vision. Being a Physician - Ophthalmology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Ophthalmology may report to a medical director. - Winter daily averages 65pts/day (Peak January – March)
- Summer averages 45pts/day (Slower June – August)
- Single physician provider coverage
- Advanced Practice Provider Coverage 11am – 8pm
- Shift times change to accommodate winter volumes
- Flexing (Late arrival/Early release)
- No ICU beds
- CT and Xray reads by radiology – No MRI
- US on call at night
- W2 status with comprehensive benefit package
