Busy solo ophthalmology practice looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our team! At least 2 years experience in healthcare reception REQUIRED, ophthalmology or optometry experience a HUGE PLUS. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient at multi-tasking, and possesses a warm friendly demeanor. Specific duties include check-in and check-out, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, collecting and posting payments, and scheduling procedures and testing. If interested, could also learn to do ophthalmic testing such as visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, and topography. We are looking for a new team member that embraces learning new things, understands that patient care is our number one priority, and approaches each aspect of their job with enthusiasm, dedication, and pride. We are fully electronic and candidates must have a strong background in computers. This position is full time, Monday thru Friday 7:30 to 5, with some flexibility if needed. No weekends or holidays!
