Physician - Ophthalmology examines patients' eyes to ensure eye health, to treat injuries and to identify eye irregularities. Prescribes glasses, contacts or surgery to correct vision.     We are an Eyecare practice striving to provide excellent and efficient care for our patients.

    We are looking for someone to begin work in the near future. This is a part-time position, and the days required are 3-4 days a week (ranging from Mon-Thur) from 7 AM-4:30 PM. You must be able to commit to these days and times for this position.

    We are looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and will be able to increase their hours and responsibilities as the practice continues to grow.

    We are a growing medical practice that is in need of a Medical assistant or Medical technician. Experience in Ophthalmology is desired, but NOT necessary. We are open to training for the right candidate. Experience at a medical office is a requirement.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in ophthalmology and be able to provide quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient work ups, taking patient histories, and assisting the doctor with diagnostic tests and procedures. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical information in a way that is easy for patients to understand.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity, refraction, tonometry, and fundus photography.
    • Assist ophthalmologists in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.
    • Maintain patient records and document test results.
    • Provide patient education on eye care and safety.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.

    Successful potential candidates should include a personalized cover letter, resume and 3 professional references.
