Physician - Ophthalmology examines patients' eyes to ensure eye health, to treat injuries and to identify eye irregularities. Prescribes glasses, contacts or surgery to correct vision. Being a Physician - Ophthalmology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Ophthalmology may report to a medical director. The Physician Assistant will perform direct and indirect patient care services as a member of the Ophthalmology team. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. The Physician Assistant will be split coverage between the Malvern and Wilmington locations. The schedule will consist of weekday coverage in Wilmington and Malvern as well as one weekend per month in Wilmington. In addition, the Physician Assistant will perform telehealth services for New Jersey.
