Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Occupational Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     You must have a strong desire to practice Occupational Medicine with a focus on injury case management. This position will support Puget Sound Region Occupational Medicine clinics.


    * No after hours call responsibility and no weekend hours. *

    FTE: .6, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday

    APP First Year Salary - Min .6 FTE $91,728 - Max $91,728

    Requirements

    • Minimum two years experience in Occupational Medicine or related specialty
    • Licensed in the state of WA as a PA by the time of employment
    • Board certified by the time of employment
    • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
    • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
