Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Obstetrics/Gynecology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Genesis Physician Services is seeking a Fee For Service (1-2 days per week) Attending Physician/Medical Director for our Logan Center in Logan, WV.
This is a Dual Role Attending Physician/Medical Director. It is clinical in nature. Call is minimal as we have a third party telehealth company that assumes most of the call. There is flexibility with the schedule. Must be BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with LTC Experience.
Genesis Physician Services (GPS), part of Genesis HealthCare - one of the nation's largest providers of skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy - , is a group practice of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and others who specialize in the holistic care of sub-acute, skilled nursing and long-term stay patients. We're handling hospitalist acuity in a sub-acute environment; often completing the plan of care initiated in the hospital. Requirements:
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.M.D. or D.O. required.
2.Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
