Physician - Nuclear Medicine uses radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease. Monitors quality control of radionuclide preparation, administration and disposition, and ensures that all activities comply with the standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Being a Physician - Nuclear Medicine instructs and directs nuclear medicine technologists regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nuclear Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:- Varied Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM; An average of 7-10 Shifts per month starting as soon as possible.
- Setting: Hospital
- Types of Cases: The physician will be attending Level II Trauma patients in the Emergency Department
- Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks, clean files can be expedited
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Sunrise
