Physician - Nephrology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the kidneys. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Nephrology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nephrology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Nephrology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Office Hours:
8:30-5:30 Monday- Thursday, 9-1 Friday
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls
-Call patients regarding lab results and telephone messages
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Basic life support certification is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
