Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in a single practice physician office. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Your role will involve a variety of administrative tasks, including managing calendars, organizing charts, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient scheduling and registration
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Greet patients and vendors and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mailing
- Provide administrative support to other team members as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures will be valuable
- Computer proficiency
