Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine jobs in Hollywood, FL
Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. Being a Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine may assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Additionally, Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides pre- and postnatal care as needed. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Envision Physician Services is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to become part of our prestigious practice at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in the Fort Lauderdale area (Margate, FL). New Emergency Medicine Residency Program started Summer 2022.
Emergency Room Features:
- ED consists of 45-55 beds including the Pediatric area
- Separate Pediatric ER
- Approx. 55,000 visits to include main ED and Pediatric ED
- 62 hours of physician coverage
- 12 hours of Advanced Practice Providers
- Approximately 2 patients per hour
- EMR: Meditech and Pdoc
- 24 hour in house hospitalists
- 24 hour in house intensivists
- 24 hour in house obstetricians
- No floor code or consult responsibilities
- Interventional cardiac catheterization facility
- Independent Contractor Status
- Qualified candidates must be Board Certified or Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
