Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. Being a Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine may assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Additionally, Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides pre- and postnatal care as needed. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Salary and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000
- Health Insurance is paid 75% by the employer
- Dental and Vision Insurance is paid 100% paid by the employer
- Retirement package 403(b) 3% match
- Paid Time off 12 days in your first year
- Paid holidays 10 and you get one float holiday every year
- 40 hours paid time towards completion of CME units
- Employer will pay for two professional associations per contract year not to exceed $1200
- Life Insurance $50,000
- Long-term disability
- Malpractice insurance
- Full support staff
Responsibilities
- Monday – Thursday (8:00 am – 5:30 pm) & Friday (8:00 am – 12:00 pm)
- Educate patients on preventative care & prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with the care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient’s care plan
- Must be able to see patients of all ages.
- Average patient load 20-25
Requirements
- Clear and active MD/DO license in the state of Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Will take ACN
