Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide comprehensive internal medicine services to patients in both the outpatient and telehealth settings. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, manage chronic illnesses, and promote preventive care.

Scheduled Clinical Hours: Maintain a consistent schedule for clinical hours, ensuring accessibility for patient appointments and consultations.

Call Coverage: Participate in the on-call rotation as required to address urgent patient needs during non-office hours.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Utilize Cerner EMR system to document patient encounters, manage medical records, and streamline administrative tasks.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Quality Care: Uphold the highest standards of quality care, ensuring that patient needs are met and treatment plans are evidence-based and effective.

Telehealth Services: Conduct virtual patient consultations via telehealth platforms, providing convenient and accessible healthcare services.

Continuing Education: Stay current with medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Internal Medicine

Valid medical license in the state of Texas

Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

Proficiency in using electronic medical records, specifically Cerner

Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed
