The Infectious Disease fellowship is one of the oldest in the United States, with advanced fellowships in Hospital Infection Prevention and Epidemiology, Infectious Disease Transplantation and Global Health.

    • Featured programs include HIV, ID transplant, Health Care Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Resistance and Global Health.
    • The HIV program is Ryan White funded providing multidisciplinary clinic support and various community-based HIV programs in the City of Detroit.
    • The Division of Infectious Diseases has a fully funded 3400 ft sq dedicated research laboratory.
    • Board Certification and fellowship training in Infectious Disease is required.

    The successful candidate should have demonstrated potential as a leader and have a strong academic interest. Track record of publications and experience in a leadership role on grant-funded translational, clinical, or laboratory-based research is preferred. Faculty appointments are available commensurate with experience.
