    We are looking for a qualified APP to join our Internal Medicine practice. This is a great opportunity for a PA/NP with a passion for helping adults live their best healthy life. The ideal candidate will make it a point to build strong relationships with their patient while participating in a collaborative team focused care environment. Be committed to delivering exceptional comprehensive care with an emphasis on patient involvement in preventive care and treatment planning for patients ages 18 and up.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination
    • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram and laboratory tests; interpret test results for deviations from normal
    • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care; manage infection
    • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of care
    • Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living and health maintenance


    Required Knowledge and Experience

    • Physician Assistant: Completion of accredited PA program
    • Nurse Practitioner: Completion of accredited NP program; Master's degree in Nursing
    • 2 or more years related healthcare experience and/or training

    Required Licensure, Certification, Registration

    • Physician Assistant: Current NC medical license; certified by the NCCPA
    • Nurse Practitioner: Current NC Board of Nursing RN and NP license; certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
    • Current BLS certification


    This is a full-time position from 8:30 to 5:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:30 to 12:00 on Friday. There are no on-call assignments currently. We offer competitive compensation and benefits and a chance to earn bonuses too.
