Sr HR Generalist

Colonial Heights, VA - This is not a remote position. You are required to be on-site at the facility 5 days per week.

As a Sr HR Generalist- Integrated Supply Chain and
Manufacturing at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing
comprehensive HR support to our unionized facility in Colonial Heights, VA and
US Region. You will partner with leaders and employees to drive HR initiatives,
ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and foster a positive
employee experience. Your expertise in HR policies, employee relations, and
talent management will contribute to the success of our organization. You will
report directly to our Regional Senior HR Manager and work out of our Colonial
Heights, VA location with other location responsibilities as assigned. In this
role, you will have a direct impact on employee engagement, talent development,
and organizational effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing employee
relations, implementing HR programs, and driving continuous improvement in HR
processes while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees
on various HR matters, including employee relations, performance management,
and talent development.
• Partner
with business leaders to understand talent needs and develop effective
recruitment strategies.
• Conduct
full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing,
and onboarding of new hires
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective bargaining
agreements, and company policies.
• Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations,
and recommend appropriate actions. • Partner with HR COEs to implement HR
programs and initiatives, such as talent acquisition, compensation, and
benefits.
• Support the implementation of performance management
processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify training and
development needs and facilitate learning opportunities for employees.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a
positive work environment.
• Provide guidance and support during organizational
changes, including restructures and workforce planning.
• Maintain HR data and generate reports to support HR
metrics and analytics.
• Participate in the union grievance process while working
with leadership to resolve grievance matters.
