Job Summary:

The HR Generalist at Pepper Palace plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting the organization's human resources functions. This position is responsible for a variety of HR tasks, including employee relations and compliance ensuring that the company’s HR operations run smoothly and effectively.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Support:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing any concerns, questions, or feedback.
• Cultivate a positive work environment and employee morale.
• Compliance & Policy Management:
• Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in the revision and implementation of HR policies and procedures, offering guidance on employment regulations to management.

Performance Management:

• Provide support in managing performance-related issues.
• HRIS Management:
• Oversee onboarding, hiring, and terminations within the HRIS.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry, update, and maintenance of employee data in the HRIS.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage HR databases and tools to ensure data integrity.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to align HR practices with company goals and culture.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SHRM or similar certification required.
• 5 – 7 years previous experience in an HR role.
• Proficiency in HR systems and software, particularly HRIS platforms.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Travel Requirements:

• 0 – 5% of the time or as business requires.
