We are seeking a dedicated Locums Gastroenterology (GI) Hospitalist to provide comprehensive coverage in Neptune, NJ.
Neptune, NJ, provides residents with a coastal lifestyle, cultural amenities, and recreational opportunities. Its proximity to the Jersey Shore and neighboring towns makes it an attractive place to live for those seeking a balance between suburban living and coastal experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
· Cover the inpatient GI census, ensuring comprehensive care for gastroenterology patients.
· Collaborate with the medical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
· Provide daily coverage from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring continuity of care for the patient census (provider will cover their own patient census).
· Work alongside one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will assist in daily tasks.
Patient Load: Manage an average of 25-35 patients daily with APP assist.
Qualifications:
· Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
· Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
· Board certification in Gastroenterology
· Unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey
· A valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
