Physician - Family Practice examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Family Practice prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Family Practice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine (MD, DO or equivalent medical degree from a non-US medical school), Completion of an accredited MD or DO residency in Family Practice medicine preferred
Experience: Three years of experience in area of specialty preferred
Hospital Privileges: Privileges in Family Practice at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital
Certificate/Licenses: Current Michigan Medical license, Board Certified or Board eligible with timely progress to certification, Current Controlled Substance License, Current DEA Certificate, Current BCLS certification
