Reports To: Physician Practice Administrator Liaison and Executive Director
Position Summary: The Practice Administrator manages all medical office operations and financial oversight.
Position Requirements:
· Medical office management experience.
· Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing etc.
· Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
· Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

Position Responsibilities:
· Work with legal team to ensure Practice compliance
· Evaluate and provide feedback to staff
· Ensure quality training program in place for providers as well as support staff
· Ability to create and implement effective policies and procedures
· Negotiate insurance contracts with payors
· Attend, design, and participate in staff meetings.
· Possess medical coding knowledge
· Capable of evaluating chart notes for compliance
· Perform all functions of the human resource officer
· Ensure HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules are compliant
· Responsible for IT
· Catalogue, purchase, and account for all IT equipment
· Perform annual risk assessments
· Monitor and evaluate revenue billing cycle
· Analyze, make comparisons, and forecast expenses, collections, and net income
· Responsible for creating and adhering to the Practice budget
· Work with accountant to ensure monthly and quarterly data are accurate
· Comfortable working with contracts and negotiations
· Develop operational and clinical workflow to maximize ACO Participation and Performance based compensation.
· Develop operational and clinical workflow to maximize MDVIP Program and Compensation.
· Management of operational budget and cost efficiencies.
· Day to day management of the MAFP Office including but not limited to:
o Scheduling
o Employee / Staff management
o Staff Meetings
Physical/Mental Demands:
Elevated levels of mental concentration are required. Must handle multiple tasks simultaneously and subject to interruptions. Physical effort requires sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements consisting of reaching with hands and arms. Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to speak and hear are required. Requires frequent use of telephone, writing and computer keyboarding.
