Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Endocrinology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Endocrinology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Seeking Endocrinologist physician in Albuquerque, NM. As we grow to best serve the needs of our communities we are excited to add an Endocrinologist to our busy, established Endocrinology Practice.
* Outpatient, no hospital rounding required.
* Advise patients concerning aliments related to the endocrine system including reproduction, growth, bone health, metabolism, and others.
* Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations to include but not limited to obtaining patient history, ordering labs, diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
* Communicate effectively with physicians and medical staff in coordinated care.
* Uphold excellent bedside manners and ability to create a great patient experience.
* Ability to explain medical procedures and plan of care to patients.
* Attends departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested.
* Currently, board certificated or board eligible.
* Successful completion of an accredited endocrinology residency program.
* Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NM.
