Physician - Endocrinology jobs in Baton Rouge, LA

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, measuring patient height and weight, and collecting specimens for laboratory testing.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and billing information.
- Provide patient education on topics such as medication instructions, test preparations, and general health information.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and interpret results.
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.

Note: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
