    Luminis Healths growing practice is looking for BC/BE Endocrinologists to join them on the journey of helping our community patients in Maryland. Currently the practice has 3 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners and expanding. Become that beacon of light and hope to our patients.

    The Endocrinologists clinical responsibilities will include all aspects of endocrinology consultation, evaluation, and treatment administered to patients in the outpatient setting and as a consultant on Anne Arundel Medical Center inpatient floors or in the Emergency Department. Serving as a consultant for referring providers and performing functions that are clinically privileged.

     

    Essential Job Duties Include:

    • Performing duties according to established standards for age groups adolescence through geriatrics and making sufficient accommodations for individuals with disabilities
    • Supervising and writing orders for all medical procedures and prescribing medical referrals where indicated
    • Overseeing the administration of all medication protocols
    • Working with appropriate staff to ensure that all documentation of care, treatment and incidents is done in a clear, concise and timely manner
    • Dictating patient care notes and complies with all medical record requirements

     

    Requirements Include:

    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine (Doctor degree)
    • Completion of Residency in specified field of Specialty
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
    • Possess current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland (DEA license)
