Physician - Dermatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Dermatology performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Dermatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Dermatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. The physician provides dermatology care in an outpatient setting. Will follow and direct evidenced based practices as established within dermatology services. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.
Minimum Education Requirement: Graduate of Accredited Medical School. Board certified or board eligible in dermatology.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Experience in group practice and/or clinic setting preferred.
Minimum License Requirement: Current West Virginia licensure. Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate. Fully credentialed according to Dermatology services.
