Physician - Dermatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Dermatology performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Dermatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Dermatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Overview:The Physicians of Arizona Dermatology Group & Forefront Dermatology are in need of a full time dermatologist to join the practice in Prescott, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced physicians and staff. The practice offers a wide range of services and dermatologic care to patients.
A new physician will have the opportunity to practice with an open scope that includes: general, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
After ensuring high quality care, finding a good “fit” is key to the team. The physician group places a high value on people with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and a patient first approach to dermatology.
Our commitment to creating a culture of support and collaboration starts with our collegial approach. It is this collective knowledge and responsibility that helps drive Forefront forward. Our group practice gathers for bi-annual retreats to meet with colleagues, share ideas, identify innovations, initiate practice policies and develop strategies for practice improvement and growth. Every two years, physicians vote for nominated candidates to serve on the physician board. In addition, there are many opportunities for physicians not serving in leadership to chair key strategic and practice improvement initiatives.
Since our founding, our mission has been to provide dermatologists with an environment that allows them to focus entirely on patient care while retaining leadership of their practice. We emphasize physician leadership in the specialty, and benefit from the administrative expertise provided by our shared support services.
