We are surgically skilled medical professionals specifically trained to assist in surgical procedures to help ensure the safety and best possible outcome for the patient. Working closely with and under the direct supervision of the surgeon, we offer hands-on assistance during the procedure. Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide support during surgical procedures. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing the approriate exposure and visualization needed to successfully perform the operation.

-Assisting with hemostatis throughout the operation.

- Assisting the operating room team with gathering supplies needed for the operation.

- Provide assistance with wound closure, including suturing and applying dressings

- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes

- Assist with patient positioning within the surgical suite

Skills:

- Proficient in surgical systems and equipment operation

- Strong understanding of infection control procedures

- Proficient in suturing techniques and wound closure

- Solid knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

- Excellent patient care skills, including compassion and empathy

- Strong understanding of medical terminology
