Physician Assistant - Surgical under the direction of physician, performs first assistant surgical duties, including tissue retraction and suturing. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries Requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Additionally, Physician Assistant - Surgical requires a master's degree of Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related. Typically reports to a physician. We are seeking a part time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to work two to three days per week at our Lawrenceville and Johns Creek locations.
OrthoAtlanta is seeking a non-surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with one of our PM&R Physicians. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be providing a full spectrum of care from orthopaedic diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation. The goal is to restore maximum function and improve the quality of life for our patients. Experience with medication management and joint injections is preferred. Candidates should be flexible and have a strong desire to work both independently and as a team member. Excellent assessment skills and a strong work ethic are required.
