Being a Physician Assistant - Specialty orders and interprets appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries. Additionally, Physician Assistant - Specialty requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Requires a master's degree in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related. Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Requires State license to practice. Typically reports to a physician. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide support to the dentist and help deliver quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental imaging systems, patient assessment, and assisting with dental procedures.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays, MUST BE X-RAY CERTIFIED
- Take alginate impressions
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical imaging systems, including taking and developing dental x-rays
- Strong patient assessment skills, including vital signs and medical history
- Ability to assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Knowledge of pediatric dental care techniques and practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
