GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide both urgent and non-urgent healthcare in alignment with Sterling Provider Group's policies. As a key member of our multicultural patient-focused team, conduct detailed patient histories, complete examinations, and maintain strong relationships with investors and referral sources.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Deliver outpatient medical care, including pre-operative care for minor surgeries.
Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and initiate treatment plans.
Maintain high medical practice standards and contribute to the training and development of the medical team.
Facilitate patient transitions within and between healthcare settings.
Exemplify a positive attitude and professionalism toward patients and staff.
Participate in the development of clinic protocols and formulary.
Fulfill continuing education requirements for licensure maintenance.
Document all patient-related activities in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from either an accredited physician assistant studies program, or nurse practitioner program.
Currently licensed in the State of hire/assignment.
Board certification by the NCCPA as a Physician Assistant.
Previous experience in urgent care, hospital, or ambulatory clinic setting preferred.
Effective communication skills in English, additional languages preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Patience and tact to interact with diverse patient populations.
Scheduling flexibility to rotate hours and shifts, including emergency coverage.
Strong presentation skills.
