Physician Assistant - Emergency & Trauma assesses, plans, and provides patient care to patients in an emergency and trauma unit under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Being a Physician Assistant - Emergency & Trauma orders and interprets appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries. Additionally, Physician Assistant - Emergency & Trauma requires a master's degree in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related. Requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Requires State license to practice. Typically reports to a physician. Physician Assistant - Emergency & Trauma's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are currently offering a positions for ER Veterinary Technician. We are seeking well-trained, responsible, driven individuals with enthusiastic personalities who are committed to providing excellent patient and client care. The position of Veterinary Technician calls for a patient oriented individual who will be responsible for obtaining patient histories and vital signs. This technician will also be asked to help with patient treatments, anesthesia and diagnostics. We have a fully functional ICU that provides care to a wide range of critically ill patients, our ICU Technicians are tested into their position, as are all of our other technician positions. Technologies include all point of care lab work testing, direct/indirect blood pressure monitoring, advanced line placement, transfusion medicine, and gold standard nursing care. This ER service has a Criticalist and a diverse DVM staff dedicated to the ER/ICU seven days a week.
