Physician - Anesthesiology examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. * Part-time, permanent opening
* Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join our team.
Ideal candidates will carry a broad skill set needed to function effectively in a rural hospital environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary group are necessary for success in this position.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Full scope anesthesia practice, functioning both independently and as leader of an anesthesia care team. Strong and confident clinical leadership, neuraxial, and regional anesthetic skills are a must. Work collaboratively with 3-4 CRNAs and two other anesthesiologists.
Practice Details:
Schedule: 5-day work week - (8:00a to 5:00p)
