Physician - Anesthesiology examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. About The Position
CompHealth is assisting a group in Georgia with their search for a pain management physician to join their growing team of medical professionals. They provide exceptional care for patients with chronic pain and neurological disorders. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5 pm and an occasionally Friday from 8 am to 12 pm. You will perform interventional pain procedures under fluoroscopy on-site and ASC based. You will also oversee ARNP and PA staff and their patients. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic teammate who is passionate about patient care and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be a board-certified or board-eligible physician with the ability to obtain an active and unrestricted Georgia license.In addition to a generous compensation package, you will also be offered medical and benefits, life insurance/disability, vacation/holidays, relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, CME time and/or stipend, a retirement plan, and malpractice insurance.
