Physician - Anesthesiology examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Qualified Candidates:- General anesthesiologists. Fellowship trained would be welcomed, but not required
- Supervision practice structure
- Call will be shared 1:4
- Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology
- Eligible for Missouri licensure
