Physician - Anesthesiology examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     * 180 surgical cases per month
    * Procedures will include general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals
    * Malpractice coverage provided including tail coverage
    * Shared call.
    * Supervision of experienced CRNA's.
    * Experience required.
    * Short commute from Greenville, NC and the Tidewater, VA area

    114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the hospitals 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 21,000 patients per year. This modern facility provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, Wound Healing and Pain Management centers serve as referral centers for neighboring hospitals and providers.
