Job Title: Locum - CRNA - Anesthesiology

Department: Anesthesia

Location: Jupiter, FL 33458

Shifts: Mon - Fri - 8 hour shifts, or four 10's per week, or three 12's- 7am - 3pm, 7am - 5pm, 7am 7pm

Shift Times: 7am - 3pm 

Summary:

The Anesthesia Assistant provides support to the CRNA and anaesthesiologist during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have an active Florida license, be board certified, and have experience in a variety of surgical cases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the CRNA and anaesthesiologist during surgical procedures
  
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
  
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment
  
• Document patient care
  
• Communicate effectively with the CRNA, anesthesiologist, and other members of the surgical team
  

Qualifications:

• Active Florida license
  
• Board certification
  
• ACLS, BLS, and NBCRNA certifications
  
• 2 years of experience as an Anesthesiology
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weeknights and weekends Open until filled

• The facility offers a variety of cases, including general surgery, ortho, GI, robotics, OB/GYN, C-sections, epidurals, radiology, endo, eyes, plastics, ENT, and neuro.
  
• The average monthly caseload is 600-700 cases.
  
• The majority of cases are general surgery, ortho, and GI.
  
• The facility uses EMR.
  
• The facility requires candidates to have open availability.
