Physical Therapy Attendant assists in the treatment of patients under the direction of physical therapists. Supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment areas, equipments, and materials. Being a Physical Therapy Attendant may be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepares and sanitizes treatment rooms for the patients. Additionally, Physical Therapy Attendant helps maintain the treatment records of the patient. May perform various clerical duties such as greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly, outgoing personality, excel in multitasking, have exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Greeting and welcoming patients upon their arrival
- Managing phone calls
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Ensuring patient adherence to scheduled appointments
- Collecting payments from patients
- Overseeing our call log
- Handling new patient intake and communication
- Preparing weekly reports
- Keeping the front office and waiting area tidy
- Explaining benefits to newly evaluated patients
- Assisting patients through the sales process to ensure they are fully signed up for care
- Scheduling follow-up appointments post-evaluation
- Managing patient billing, including accurate collection of patient dues
- Performing data entry tasks with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and basic data entry skills
- Filing insurance claims

This is a full-time, salaried position offering additional benefits. It requires availability for 8-hour workdays. Our operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 : 00am to 4 : 30 pm and Tuesday / Thursday from 10 : 00 am to 6 : 30 pm.
