Physical Therapist - Nursing Home evaluates and treats patients suffering from a physical disability due to injury, disease, or surgery in a nursing home environment. Establishes treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them increase their mobility. Being a Physical Therapist - Nursing Home works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and adjustors. Monitors, documents, and reports patients' progress. Additionally, Physical Therapist - Nursing Home may supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers. Requires an advanced degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Typically reports to a manager. Requires a state license to practice physical therapy. Physical Therapist - Nursing Home's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. A home health setting is both flexible and rewarding.
About the role
This role allows you to operate as an independent, per-diem clinician, but with supportive consulting and resources available from Lifespan. We are here to help you be successful. Use our custom app to accept patient assignments in locations and on days that work best for you. Sign and submit notes on just 1 easy EMR system (TherapySync) with any data enabled device. Submit an invoice for direct deposit twice per month.
