Physical Therapist jobs in Yakima, WA

Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Establishes individualized treatment plans and treats patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment. Being a Physical Therapist maintains patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly. Advises patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process. Additionally, Physical Therapist may work with and/or consult with physicians, case managers, and other medical professionals. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires Certified Physical Therapist (CPT). Requires Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT). Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     WHO YOU ARE:
    • A WA state licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist with a proven track record of great outcomes
    • CHT Certification preferred - or interest in obtaining this certification 
    • You have at least 2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience with outstanding clinical confidence
    • You love people and thrive on establishing meaningful connections
    • Possess a natural ability to lead by example and influence others
    • Capable of building strong rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds through strong communication and empathy
    • A natural leader with the ability to lead by example and help build up the team of therapists and support staff around you.
    • A therapist capable of building strong rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds through strong communication and empathy
    • Ability to utilize new technology and software changes in the industry to enhance the client’s engagement and increase efficiency
       
     
    PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
    • Base salary: $76,000-$93,000 depending on experience
    • Additional earning potential: Shared reward intelligent compensation program in which therapists can select a percentage of their base salary and percentage of pay based on performance. Earning potential on this program allows our therapists to earn well over 100K with base salary performance pay.
